The bearings are distinguished by the shape and arrangement of the rolling elements. Each model corresponds to specific performance and therefore a specific use. For example, roller bearings support higher loads than ball bearings of equivalent size, as the contact of rolling elements with the rings is linear. However, they accept lower rotation frequencies. Needle cages are less cumbersome but require staff preparation.
