Since 1927 – Men of Passion

1927, while Charles Lindbergh has just made the first crossing of the Atlantic Ocean, 5,800 km in 33 hours and on the other side of the Channel, the first telephone service between London and New York is open to the public, in Peseux, in Switzerland, the first turned parts are produced at Adax workshop.

ADAX SA: A long Story

ADAX SA is the cradle of Swiss Microtechnology and Watchmaking. Initially, we were the preferred supplier for Swiss watch brands producing great-complexity timepieces. It is at their contact that we have developed rigour, reliability, precision and that we have pushed to its extreme the mastery of miniaturization.

Year 2000: Moving in Bevaix

In 2000, ADAX SA invested in a new 3,000 m2 production building. Since then, the production site is in Bevaix in Switzerland and offers an ideal framework and working conditions for all our employees. In addition, it meets all environmental legislations. législations environnementales.

 

2006 – Buyback by Mr. Urs Kamber

In 2006, ADAX SA, propriety of Mr. Jean-Pierre Parel is sold to Mr. Urs Kamber.

2009 – Buyout of Ravine SA

In 2009, Ravine SA, a company active in the high-precision machining industry in Cormondrèche in Switzerland is bought by Adax SA, thereby acquiring several new markets and numerous cam machines.

2011 – Purchase of CNC machines

In 2011, ADAX SA invested in digitally controlled machine cutters (single and multi-spindle) to meet an increasingly sophisticated and diversified demands from our customers.

2017 – Buyback by Codec Group

In July 2017, ADAX SA is integrated to Codec Group, propriety of Mr. Michel Di Bernardo and Mr. Jean-Daniel Constantini. Adax SA retains its identity and its independence.

2017 – Appointment of Mr. Victor Monteiro

In September 2017, board of directors of Codec Group appointed Mr. Victor Monteiro as CEO of ADAX SA as successor to Urs Kamber.
